Chikoo Fruits

Chikoo Fruit is rich in fibre, phosphorus, digestible sugar, protein, iron and calcium. A milky substance extracted from the chikoo stem. Bubble gums are made up of chikoo gum. In Tamil Nadu Chikoo Fruit is called as "Sapota pazham". Sapota powder is used for making ice cream, biscuits. Mostly it is used for milk shake. It looks like potato, but it is soft. Skin for Chikoo Fruit is brown in color and grainy flesh. It available in 4 to 8 diamete. The chickoo tree grows well in a sunny and warm climate sans frost.

Kiwi fruit


Kiwi fruit looks like hairy, brown peel containing green flesh. The term Kiwi derived from a Kiwi Bird, native of New Zealand. Kiwi fruit contains potassium, Vitamin C, Vitamins A and Vitamins E. The fruit will usually be 3 inches in length and it weighs 4 ounces. Kiwi juices improve the human eyesight and it is ranked higher than spinach. It also used in cocktail drinks. It acts as a protecting agent for respiratory symptoms associated with asthma such as wheezing. These fruit should not been eaten after long time when it is cutted, because they contain enzymes that act as a food tenderizer.

Oranges


The orange is originated from South- and indo-China. Orange trees are evergreen trees. They grow 8 to 15 m. high. Oranges are oval to sphere-shaped fruits with leathery, porous skin. Their color ranges from orange to red-orange. Oranges are eaten by hand and squeezed a lot. Oranges are green before they ripen. Their color ranges from orange to red-orange. One orange contains about 50 mg of vitamin C. Oranges are an acid and therefore a detoxifying fruit.

Watermelon


The native of watermelon is from Africa. Now the melons are mostly cultivated in America. Water melons outer layer contains green color, but inside there will be a red fleshy fruit. The red flesh contains lot of water content. In India melons are the good resources during summer time, instead of water.

It contains seed in the fleshy area. These seeds are roasted by Asians. Melons are used for beauty treatment purpose. Even juices are popular. Melons are less in calories and highly nutrients. Watermelon is also high in lycopene. As we see in our old post they acts as antioxidant. These antioxidant prevents some forms of cancer and cardiovascular disease. It also contains vitamin A and vitamin C. It controls blood pressure.

Cherries

Cherry fruits are available in yellow, black and red color. It seems like a small soft rounded tiny fruit with shiny appearance. The flavor of cherry fruits available in both sweet and sour. Cherry tree can grow upto 9m. Europe is the native for cherries. Cherries can be stored for one to two days.

Cherry fruit contains melatonin, hence they destroy toxins that cause disease. It is considered as antioxidants which helps against cancer and heart diseases. It contains low cholesterol, fat and sodium. Cherries contains fiber and vitamin C. Mainly cherries are cultivated during Christmas season.

Pineapple


The origin of pineapple is from Brazil. Pineapple leaves grow up to 20 - 72 inches in length. It contains rough structure outside. Strawberries contains vitamins A, B, and C, and also contain some amounts of calcium, phosphorous, potassium, carbohydrates, etc. They are rich in Folic acid, which helps in preventing birth related defects. It contains a calories of 50.

Banana
